Beamery connects talent data and workforce plans. Instant Expert helps you invite specific professionals to paid conversations. Here is where each fits.

Instant Expert EditorialPublished Updated 3 min read

Choose Beamery to organize talent data and plan your workforce. Choose Instant Expert when you need to speak with particular professionals. They can support the same hiring decision, but they do different work.

Beamery's Talent CRM brings candidate profiles, talent pools and recruiting history together. It can connect employee data from an HR system so recruiters can consider internal and external people. Its Workforce Intelligence Suite adds models of headcount, cost, skills and tasks.

Instant Expert lets you find people and offer payment for a call or reply. You might contact a potential hire, or ask someone with relevant experience to help you think through a role before you recruit for it.

An example: planning a new support team

Suppose you are opening a support hub. Your draft plan has one manager per shift, with each manager also responsible for training and quality reviews.

There are two questions to answer:

QuestionWhat would help?
Who in our organization has the relevant experience, and what would each staffing plan cost?Connected employee data and a workforce model. Evaluate Beamery for this.
Can one manager realistically cover escalations, training and quality on that shift?A conversation with someone who has run a comparable team. Consider Instant Expert for this.

In a Beamery demo, ask the vendor to model your actual proposal. Change one assumption—for example, move training to a shared team—and see how the staffing plan changes. Ask which data comes from your systems and which skills are inferred.

For a paid conversation, look for a support leader who has staffed a similar operation. Explain the experience you need in the invitation. During the call, ask about a recent week: when did escalations arrive, who trained new staff, and what work slipped? That is more useful than asking whether your plan “sounds reasonable.”

Use the answer to revise a specific assumption. One person's experience is a starting point to investigate, not a staffing benchmark for every company.

What are you buying?

Beamery's pages direct buyers to a demo rather than publish a numeric price. Ask for a proposal that names the CRM or planning modules, required integrations and implementation work.

Instant Expert shows a price for each person and request. Review the offer and total buyer cost before sending. You are paying for an agreed exchange; the person can decline, and a conversation about team design does not make them a job applicant.

If your problem is scattered candidate records, start with Beamery's CRM. If your plan rests on work you do not understand yet, research the role first, then invite someone who has done it to talk.
