Instant Expert vs ContactOut: contact details or a paid introduction?

Choose ContactOut when you need candidate contact details and tools to run recruiting email campaigns. Choose Instant Expert when you want to offer a selected person payment for a conversation or reply about a role.

The tools can be used together. Contact information helps you reach someone; a paid invitation defines what you are asking them to do with their time.

What ContactOut provides

ContactOut offers candidate search filters, a browser extension for finding available email addresses and phone numbers, and email campaigns with response tracking. The first three cards specify one user per company. The free card also lists five email and five phone lookups per day and is marked limited-time. Paid lookup allowances and exports have different terms; “unlimited emails” does not mean unlimited exports.

Instant Expert spending follows the individual requests you choose. If you use both products, include both the contact-data subscription and the paid invitations in your budget.

Make the introduction worth accepting

Suppose you are hiring a finance systems manager. ContactOut can help find details for a relevant shortlist. It cannot fix an invitation that leaves out the role's location, compensation, or main responsibilities.

For an Instant Expert invitation, offer a 15-minute paid call about the actual opening. Explain which systems the person would own, who they would work with, and the working arrangement. Ask whether the opportunity fits what they want next. Agreeing to the call is not agreeing to apply.

You can manually import selected contacts using email, LinkedIn URL, or name and company, including a permitted export from another tool. This is a file transfer, not a native ContactOut integration.
