Instant Expert vs Findymail: fix contact data or pay for a conversation?
Findymail sells prospecting data and CRM maintenance. See how those differ from Instant Expert’s paid requests and which problem to solve first.
Use Findymail when you need email addresses, phone numbers or cleaner CRM records. Use Instant Expert when you want to offer selected people payment for a call or reply. Before buying Findymail, distinguish its prospecting product from its separate CRM-maintenance service.
Findymail’s two different jobs
Prospecting finds and verifies contact details, then lets you use them in your sales tools. Datacare maintains the records already in your CRM: filling gaps, updating stale information, detecting job changes and handling duplicates. Findymail pricing, Datacare
For a sales team with an old finance-contact list, the choice depends on what is wrong. Missing emails for newly selected people point toward Prospecting. Outdated employers and duplicate records throughout the CRM point toward Datacare.
For Datacare, ask to see a preview using records your team knows. Check a person who changed jobs and a field someone maintains by hand. Findymail describes a default that preserves existing fields unless updates are allowed, plus rollback controls. Those details matter more than a large count of proposed changes. Datacare controls
What does Findymail cost?
The September 26 pricing page displayed $99 per month, billed monthly, for the selected Prospecting Starter allowance: 5,000 Finder credits plus 5,000 Verifier credits. These are separate buckets. Verification credits check addresses from other sources; they are not another 5,000 new contact finds. An email uses one Finder credit and a phone uses ten.
Datacare starts at $500 per month, billed annually, with pricing based on CRM size. It is a separate purchase, not CRM maintenance included in the $99 selection. Current pricing
Instant Expert displays individual request prices. It does not replace a bulk email verifier or CRM-cleanup service.
When the missing piece is a conversation
A founder may have perfectly usable contact records but still need someone to explain a finance process. In that case, more enrichment is not the next step.
For example:
I’m researching month-end reconciliation. Would you take a paid 30-minute call about a reconciliation you personally worked on, including where you had to ask another team for information?
Search for relevant practitioners in Instant Expert or import known people by name plus company, email or LinkedIn URL. A CSV transfer from Findymail is a manual import, not a native connection. Read the profiles, choose recipients and inspect their offers before sending.
Use a call when follow-up questions matter. For one focused question, a paid reply may be enough; the recipient chooses text or voice. If your aim is to demonstrate your finance product, describe that commercial purpose in the invitation. Start a paid request when the person’s participation is the thing you need.
