Instant Expert vs Lusha: email outreach or a paid reply?

Lusha includes contact data and email sequences. Compare that workflow with Instant Expert’s paid calls and replies, including contact-credit costs.

Lusha is useful when you want contact details and an email campaign. Instant Expert is useful when you want to offer someone payment for a specific call or reply. Lusha includes its own email sequencing tool, so you do not necessarily need another sender alongside it.

What you can do with Lusha

Find contacts, reveal the details you need and put them into Lusha Engage. Engage supports sequences, scheduled sending and reply tracking. Lusha says Engage is available without an extra charge and requires a Gmail or Microsoft Outlook account to send. Lusha Engage

That suits a founder who has a clear prospect list and wants to introduce a product, follow up and track responses.

Instant Expert starts with the person and the request. You can find relevant professionals or import people you already know, choose a call or a reply and review a price for each recipient before sending. For an asynchronous reply, the recipient chooses text or voice.

The pricing detail that matters

Lusha charges different numbers of credits for different contact details: one credit for an email address and five for a phone number. Its free plan offers up to 40 credits per month. Check the current plan selector for the allowance, seats and billing period you want; an email-only list and a phone list use the same allowance differently. Checked September 26, 2026. Instant Expert quotes the paid request itself. It is not a credit purchase that gives you an email address for your own campaign. Review the actual offers in the draft before deciding whom to invite.

When a reply is more useful than a sequence

Suppose you are building a tool for invoice exceptions. If you want to sell it to finance teams, a direct product introduction through Lusha Engage may be appropriate.

If you first need to understand what happens when an invoice has no purchase order, a narrowly framed paid reply could be more useful:

I’m researching invoice exceptions. From your own work, what usually happens when an invoice arrives without a purchase order, and who takes the next step? Please leave out confidential names or amounts.

Look for someone whose profile suggests hands-on accounts-payable work. A senior finance title does not establish that they handle these cases. Use a call instead if you need to ask follow-up questions about the sequence of events.

Can you bring a Lusha contact to Instant Expert?

Yes. Import a known email, LinkedIn URL or name plus company, either directly or in a CSV. This is a manual transfer, not a Lusha integration. Review the matched person and invitation before sending.

Use Lusha when finding contact details and running email follow-up are your main needs. Start with Instant Expert when you already know what you want to ask and want to offer payment for the person’s time.
