Instant Expert vs SalesIntel: contact research or a paid conversation?

SalesIntel finds and updates sales contact data. Instant Expert sends paid call or reply invitations. Compare Research on Demand, pricing and next steps.

Instant Expert EditorialPublished Updated 3 min read

Choose SalesIntel when you need contact information for sales outreach. Choose Instant Expert when you want to offer someone payment for a call or an answer. The distinction matters because SalesIntel’s “Research on Demand” means researching contact records, rather than arranging interviews with experts.

What Research on Demand delivers

SalesIntel’s researchers investigate contacts that are missing or cannot be confirmed in its database. Its Express service verifies an email address while other details, such as phone numbers, are still being researched. The result is contact information you can use in your sales process. For example, a software seller might know which distributor to approach but lack a current operations contact. SalesIntel can help fill that gap. If the seller already knows the person and wants to ask how the distributor handles stock discrepancies, Instant Expert offers a way to send that person a paid invitation.

SalesIntel also supplies company information and enrichment for existing records. Its pricing page lists connections to Salesforce, HubSpot, Salesloft and Outreach, along with CSV exports. That makes it relevant to a team that repeatedly builds lists and maintains CRM records. SalesIntel package details

What you pay for

As checked September 26, 2026, SalesIntel requires a quote. Its published package lists unlimited users, export credits and enrichment credits, with 10 Research on Demand credits per user per month. Advanced intent and several other products are add-ons. Ask for a quote that identifies the research allowance and any extra products you need; the word “unlimited” does not describe every service.

Instant Expert shows a price for each selected person and request before you send it. Choose a call when you need follow-up questions, or a reply for a focused question. The recipient chooses whether to answer a reply request in writing or by voice. Instant Expert

Start with the missing information

If your obstacle is a missing contact, show SalesIntel a few real gaps in your target accounts during the evaluation. Check what comes back: current role, company, email, phone and the fields your CRM requires. That is more useful than evaluating the service on database size alone.

If your obstacle is understanding someone’s work, make the invitation specific. For the distributor example:

I’m researching how distributors investigate stock discrepancies. I’d like to pay for a 30-minute call about a recent discrepancy you personally helped resolve, from discovery to correction.

Search for relevant people in Instant Expert, or import a known person by email or LinkedIn URL. A CSV can also identify people by name and company. If transferring a SalesIntel shortlist, that is a manual handoff, not a native connection between the products.

Read each profile, add suitable people to a draft and review the individual prices and message. At the start of the call, ask what the person actually handled. If you want to demonstrate your software instead, say so in the invitation so the person can decide whether that conversation interests them.
