What UpLead provides
UpLead’s Prospector filters companies and people by criteria including industry, location, revenue and company size. You can export selected records to a CRM, outreach tool or CSV file. Prospector
Its monthly plans, checked September 26, 2026, include:
| Plan | Monthly price | Credits |
|---|---|---|
| Essentials | $99 | 170 |
| Plus | $199 | 400 |
| Professional | Custom quote; annual billing | Custom |
One credit unlocks a contact for download or CRM export, including available email and mobile direct-dial details. A seven-day trial has five credits. Plus adds features such as technology filters and suppression lists, which exclude records you already have. UpLead pricing
Those features answer practical questions: can you find companies using a particular system, avoid buying the same contacts again and put the result into the tool your sales team uses? Check a few target companies and the export fields you need before choosing a plan.
A relevant title is a starting point
Imagine you are building software for factory maintenance teams. An UpLead search could help find maintenance leaders at manufacturers in your target region. For selling, that may be a useful audience. For researching a recent software change, you also need to know who actually evaluated, installed or used the system.
The head of maintenance might have approved the purchase while a planner handled the day-to-day transition. Decide which experience you need before inviting someone.
An Instant Expert research invitation could say:
I’m researching how factory maintenance teams change software. I’d like to pay for a 30-minute call with someone who helped move maintenance schedules into a new system. I’m interested in what you personally handled and how the transition worked.
Read the profile for relevant experience, then establish the person’s involvement at the beginning of the call. If you want to show your product, make the invitation a clear paid demonstration instead.
How to start in Instant Expert
Search for people using a description of the experience you need, or import a known person by email or LinkedIn URL. CSV imports also accept names and companies. You can manually transfer an UpLead shortlist; that is not a native integration.
Add suitable recipients to a draft and review the individual prices before sending. Choose a call for a conversation with follow-ups. For one focused question, choose a reply; the recipient decides whether to answer in text or voice.
Use UpLead when your next task is building a usable contact list. Use Instant Expert when your next task is making a specific paid invitation.
