One interview or a week of observations?

Suppose you are building a procurement-approval feature. An interview can explain a recent purchase: who requested it, which approvals it needed, and what happened before it was completed.

A diary study asks a different question: what happens across the working week? Participants might record a short account whenever an approval arrives, including what made it routine or unusual. That can show events people forget when describing a typical week.

If you choose the diary, give Zintro a concrete activity list. For example: an opening interview, short entries during the week, and a closing discussion. Agree on what counts as completion and what happens when someone stops participating. Ask whether reminders, replacement participants, and follow-up discussions are included in the price.

You need people doing the relevant work during that week, not just people who once held a procurement title.
