Reaching one specific person you have no connection to
Get a reply from one particular person, such as an executive at a company you're studying, when you have no connection to them.
If you need to reach one specific person you have no connection to, Instant Expert sends them a paid invitation for a short call or a written answer at their work email. Paste their LinkedIn URL or email, write why you're asking, and set the offer. You pay only if they book or answer, so a no costs nothing.
How people usually do it
People guess the email pattern, send a LinkedIn connection request, ask around for a mutual intro, DM them on X, or write to the company's press or investor relations inbox.
Where it breaks
- Guessed addresses bounce, or land in spam because they come from a stranger with no context.
- Connection requests and DMs sit unread when the person doesn't check them.
- A mutual intro needs a mutual connection, and you may not have one.
- General inboxes route to PR or investor relations staff, not the person.
How it works with Instant Expert
- 1
Paste their LinkedIn URL or email.
Use the import page, or ask your AI assistant through our MCP server. If you only have a work address you're unsure of, paste the LinkedIn URL instead and we'll find the current one.
- 2
Choose a call or a written answer.
A written or voice answer to one clear question is the easiest yes for a busy person. A call (15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes) is better when you need back-and-forth.
- 3
Write why you're asking them in particular.
One or two sentences on who you are, what you need, and why they're the right person. A specific reason gets taken seriously; a generic one doesn't, at any price.
- 4
We send it and follow up for you.
We find their work email and send your note with the offer. They have 7 days to answer, with up to two reminders, and don't need an account. If we can't find a work email, nothing goes out and nothing is charged.
What it costs
Worked example
You offer $300 for a written answer to one question from a specific executive.
- If they answer, you pay
- $300
- They receive
- $240
- Instant Expert's fee (20%)
- $60
- If they decline or don't answer within 7 days, you pay
- $0
The answer is charged when it arrives. The hold on your card for the offer is released if they don't answer.
When this isn't the right tool
Use something else when:
- The person is a celebrity or public figure. People at that level rarely take paid requests from strangers; booking sites where they've opted in, like Intro.co or Cameo, are a better bet.
- It's a customer service problem. The company's support or complaints process will get you further than its executives.
- You want their personal phone number or email. We don't hand out contact details; you hear from them when they reply.
- You're asking for a job, an investment or a favor. Paying for the conversation muddies that ask; a warm intro or a direct application is better.
Questions
Can you find someone's email address for me?
No. We find the person's work email so we can send your invitation, but we don't return it to you. If they book a call or answer, you're in touch from there.
What happens if they don't respond?
You pay nothing. They have 7 days to book or answer, and we send up to two reminders. If they decline or let it expire, the hold on your card is released.
Can my AI assistant send the invitation for me?
Yes. Instant Expert is an MCP server, so Claude, Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP clients can import the person, draft the request, and send it once you approve paid sending. Set it up →
